Strangely, the nose just disappeared after the first hour. Was deep red fruit and oaky baked pie crust, but now it’s barely present. Palate was nice with cherry, medium body, very slight glycerin, and gentle tannins. Finish is long, red cherry, slightly rocky, a slightest hint of graham cracker, and maybe a touch herbal too. Slightly hot.

Honestly, I don’t get all the craze and hype for this wine. For $11 it’s good, but maybe I was expecting too much given the reviews. Solid 88, mostly because of the nose suddenly disappearing.
