Wednesday, April 10, 2024 - Super taut on opening, loads of pine nut, very shy fruit. Slow oxed for an hour and tasted, started to unfurl. Didn't really show that classic Selosse character until 2 hours in and closely resembled Substance. Wasn't until the 3rd hour that the intensity and magnitude of this wine really showed. It was almost overwhelming to drink this side by side other bottles, it's so incredibly rich but kept in balance with sharp acidity. Really a showstopper, will pop the next bottle in 3-4 years.
