Friday, September 23, 2022 - A bit shy on the nose at first with some faint citrus and limestone. After some 20 minutes in the glass a cheesy lees notes emerged that was quite a bit overwhelming and tough to get past. Two hours in and it became more manageable. A bit of tropical fruit and ripeness with lots of herbaceous notes. Amchoor, dhania, and a very mild hint of cooked down asafoetida. A very unique expression of Riesling, but doesn't quite do it for me. AP 04 21
