Sunday, August 6, 2023 - Cherry and tapenade on the nose. On the palate, blackberry, olive tapenade, raspberry, and notes of black pepper and earthy spice on the medium to long finish, with moderate tannins and good acidity. This was drunk alongside a bottle of Vieux Donjon that was noticeably superior; however, this was still a good value at about $65. It is still young, and it should improve with age. Decanting might have helped, but this was opened for guests and there wasn't time for that.
