Wednesday, August 17, 2022 - Recommend for what it is - a reasonably well made stereotypical entry level CA chardonnay. Reasonable QPR. Clear yellow with present but balanced oak and butter - the slightly slick buttery mouth feel is present. Drink or hold - not really made for the long haul but with proper cellaring this has several years to go with expected softening and integration and this might increase the score by 1-2 points. Nose warm and buttery with banana and mango. Flavor profile of controlled oak and butter through out with yellow apple, pear and cantaloupe. There are many similar level CA chardonnays out there that are more intensely oaked and buttered.
