Sunday, May 30, 2021 - First taste of the new case- rich nose but still somewhat closed on the palate- some mild bitter notes- some noticed petrol aromas. Vs the’19 they are very different wines. Clearly different grapes. Most tonight preferred’19 at first blush but I’m ready to be surprised when I taste further into the summer and Fall. This is still Cali Bandolesque!
