Thursday, March 3, 2022 - This needed about 30-60 minutes of air to really blossom. The nose is a bit linear right now, but there is excellent depth and fragrance with tones of crushed rocks, candied pears, lemon peel, limes, white flowers, peaches, saline, and some jasmine. The Medium bodied feel has some sharp corners but with good depth and razor sharp, high acidity. This almost certainly could benefit from at least another 2-3 years of aging. I don't think this is necessarily a long distance runner, but rounding out some of the sharp angles would really let this wine sing as there is excellent fragrance and depth already.
