Saturday, March 3, 2012 - Slightly controversial wine when drunk recently with a friend. My comments suggested a fully mature savory wine with notes of barnyard and freshly turned earth overlaying the cherry fruit notes. Light brown tinge to the wine suggests it is nearing the end of its life but palate was still juicy with fresh acidity and herbal savory elements intertwined with sour cherry/berry and a super fine dusty and dry finish. Time to drink up me thinks
