flawed

Thursday, February 19, 2015 - The 2005 Jean Noel Gagnard seems to be showing early signs of premox (and no, a 1er cru Chassagne shouldn't collapse at age ten), showing a deep amber-gold colour, and nose of marmalade, banana and lots of new oak poking through. On the palate the wine is beginning to crack up, with a curtailed finish. There is none of Cailleret's mineral signature here.
