Wednesday, June 20, 2012 - This wine just got better and better over the course of the night. The best taste was the little bit left in the bottle that I consumed directly from said bottle. Still plenty of tannin and quite a strong frame, but oozing with gobs of fruit--mostly blue and black--and complimented with black pepper and meat. Still the most Old World-like SQN Syrah for my palate, this has somehow managed to get even more voluptuous in the last couple years. In a great place right now, but I expect it to get even better.
