Saturday, September 6, 2008 - Tasted at the CT Weekend Event. Purple opaque. Dense nose of dark berries, plums, smoke. Palate of same with some anise, tar and velvety tannins. This wine was seamless--one of the best syrahs I have ever tasted. I would have loved to have more time with this wine to see how it develops in the glass.
