The flavours are very red fruited - all cherries, raspberries, and kirsch with light herbal and earthy accents. It's definitely ripe, but there's nothing confected or jammy about the fruit flavours which have a nice sense of freshness to them. Enjoyed this, though given the size/scale it's not a wine I'd reach for often.
