Monday, April 19, 2021 - Some Northern Michigan Wine Notes; 4/15/2021-4/20/2021 (Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas): Tasted at the winery. 100% Chardonnay from the David's Vineyard on the Leelanau Peninsula. Made in the Charmet method. 12% alcohol. Extra Dry style and noticeably sweeter than the other 2 sparklers but still on the dry side. Notes of slate and lemons. Solid bead. 88 points.
