Saturday, April 7, 2018 - Medium color, garnet to dark tawny color, autumn brick edge, haze and opaque but some translucency towards the edge. Smells are iodine, leather, barnyard, bell pepper, raisin, dry leaves, and earth. The tastes are sour cherry, pepper, orange zest, raw meat, menthol, and earthy notes. Tannins are mostly resolved and very fine while the texture is crisp and zingy.
