Tuesday, April 11, 2023 - Pretty sexy wine right front the get. Heady aromas of blackberry syrup, cherry reduction, sandalwood, tapenade, geranium, and iron.
Big weight on the palate with massive blueberry and currant flavors, smoked meat, scorched earth, graphite and more. Layers and layers!
Very notable is the sweet, developed, integrated and supple tannins. Absolutely velvety and caressing.
The primary aromas in this are the most exciting, and the best part of drinking this bottle was each successive fresh pour from the bottle, which leads me to believe that I'll probably not really need this to age. It's perfect right now. Get it!
