Sunday, February 18, 2024 - Nose: Very perfumed and jumps out of the glass, dark black cherries, black currants, sweet and gritty soil, mild green astringency. Palate: Tart blackberries, chalk and gravel framed against a nicely oaked backdrop, bitter any chalky tannins, mouthwatering acidity. A very harmonious and well-balanced young Bordeaux. With time in the glass, cedar makes it presence known. On day two, everything melds together nicely and is more integrated, but the fruit becomes less plush and fades behind the cedar and grit.
