Tuesday, January 12, 2016 - Opaque, hazy, deep purple. Pronounced aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, smoke, hints of hairspray. Dry, Full bodied, good, high acidity. Firm tannins at a medium plus strength. High alcohol. Could easily wait another decade. Smooth, elegant wine. Flavors of black fruits, black cherries and blackberries, blueberries, earthy, tobacco, molasses, pruney, cooked raisins, jammy. Long, creamy finish with hints of dark chocolate. Outstanding quality and very highly recommended.
