Sunday, January 22, 2023 - Pop and pour. Wow. This is stunning right now, and maybe the best version of this wine I've tasted at this stage. On the nose: sweet apple cotton candy, mint, salt. On the palate: salted apple, melon, amazing acidity and density. Fantastic.

    12/21/2023 4:44:00 AM - Thanks for the notes. I’m not very familiar with the Wittmann GGs. Which GG do you think is most ready for early consumption? By way of comparison, I had a Keller ‘13 Hubacker recently and it was magnificent but a) just opening and b) Keller is expensive vs Wittmann. At the moment I am looking to buy some Wittmann ‘18 Kirschpiel and ‘20 Aulerde. Any advice appreciated!

    1/12/2024 2:49:00 PM - Sorry for the slow response, but I mostly read CT from the mobile app, which doesn't allow comment responses. Anyway, I think the Aulerde is the GG that is typically ready earliest.
