Thursday, October 28, 2021 - Armand Rousseau Chambertin Dinner (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Shockingly good Village level wine, that comes across as beautifully and unmistakably "Gevrey" with its black fruit and roasted meat. Very good balance here, clearly from a ripe vintage, but so fresh for its age (I'd have thought 2002 or 2005). OK just medium density, but that's still great for Village level wine at this age.
