Wednesday, January 27, 2021 - Leather, flowers, and gravelly minerals on the nose, with some faint vanilla and very faint barnyard. Raspberry the dominant fruit on the palette, with some red currant and cranberry, with pretty high acidity. The finish is like the finish of eating fresh raspberries, though a little short. Enjoyably austere and tart if a little one dimensional. I preferred Ponsot’s Morey St Denis Cuvee des Grives from the same year and merchant.
