Tuesday, February 13, 2024 - Second bottle from a half case purchased from the German importer in 2021. Not quite as spectacular aromatically as in October 2021, but a very fine Chassagne. There is wonderful yellow fruit here, plump and almost jewelly, ripe but fresh, with a lovely hint of pineapple, the balance and acidity are exemplary, and the oak is well judged but still noticeable. Very good intensity and length. Better on the second day, more harmonious. Drink now - 2029+.
