Friday, December 30, 2005 - Spinning capsule, unbleached cork. Very tight on the nose and the palatte. Nose of black cherry, cassis, cedar(?), coffee and chocolate. Remarkablely powerful, unresolved ripe tannins. Medium bodied, with tightly wound up ripe, intense fruit, though well-balanced, with good mid-palate complexity and layering, extending into the mdoerate finish. Good balance. Needs more bottle age.
