Friday, November 25, 2022 - A bit muted in the nose with some classic notes of cedar, leather and tobacco eventually coaxed out, but boy was this firing on all cylinders in the mouth. Soft, luscious red fruit, Christmas spice, blonde tobacco, a hint of animale, and dried flowers. Perfectly balanced, with exactly zero hard edges. Tannins like the caress of raw silk. Surprisingly medium bodied, elegant but simultaneously salt of the earth, an Edith Píaf of a wine.
