Friday, July 28, 2023 - Leaf Day. The cork in my bottle (purchased in Canada) was not plastic (thank goodness!). Lemon coloured in the glass with a bit of a shine to it. On the nose there’s white peach, pineapple, crushed rock, white flowers, salinity and lemon zest. In the mouth it has medium weight with lemon, mineral, pear and apple flavours. There’s a nice granitic lick to it as well. Medium acidity that doesn’t overpower the lushness of the fruit on the palate but does enliven it. Spice, saline and melded fruit flavour on the medium length finish. Really well done!
