Friday, April 19, 2024 - I did not notice the syrupyness or hotness which some previous tasters had noted. Sure it had high toned red and dark fruit but still felt refreshing by the supporting structure of acids and fairly tamed tannins. There was surprisingly lot of sediment in the bottle. Quite different from Godefroy of same vintage that was slightly closed and had zero sediment.

For me this feels ready right now but considering the experience with Godefroy it's possible there is some bottle variation in play.
