Wednesday, July 5, 2023 - interesting nose of rich dark berries and cab franc vibes with peppers, pine, mint, herbs, an some low down musty funk. plays strong on the palate and in the mouth with broad shouldered tannins but steady, not over powering or out of balance. With food (roast chicken and pan sauce), it transformed into a more straightforward Paso Robles cab without the curious edges. A nice fun bottle of wine.
