Monday, October 2, 2023 - If wishes were horses, you could drink 2005s. Hold. Good with marinated quail, but needs 3-5 years? Fruit is there within all that extraction, but I’d perfer more resolved tannins and some tertiary development. Certainly drinkable, but I’d still hold, which sounds a little nuts at 23 years on from the vintage.
