Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Blind I think I would have figured out it is a zin, but it is definitely a toned down style that I'm guessing was picked earlier or from a cooler site. Popped and poured and the nose was there immediately, with lighter red fruits and some spice. On the palette is where it becomes clear that it is a zin, but with less body and density than I'm used to (I don't intend that as a criticism). This is very easy drinking but if you slow down to pay attention, there is a lot of complexity. First try of this producer and happy I have several more.

2/15/2024 10:24:00 AM - I had a similar reaction to 2020 I just drank, also my first LM Trib. I have more experience with their Syrah and this followed the same style. Cool site, but still enough ummph to feel the variety and power, with lots of complexity and smoothness. Cool site for sure, but also exceptional wine making from a team that has it fully dialed in.
