Monday, January 1, 2024 - PnP. This screams Rocks AVA. So distinctive with notes of game, bacon fat, pepper and violet aromatics. Really yummy. Quite extracted but all in balance. I think this is drinking a point, but I see the producer thinks this should be held for a few more years to come into its peak drinking window. I have two more bottles and will hold off a few more years before opening another. This AVA is truly the most unique in the US.
