Friday, June 24, 2022 - Smells like honey, safrron, iodine, dried apricots with a slightly stale pallor over it, a bit like an old passito smell. Fizz is vigorous, palate is bready, sourdough, lemon rind, pear, peculiar. I don't think these were ever intended to age for 25 years so I guess it's doing well considering that. Good but I wouldn't seek it out.
