Tuesday, August 22, 2023 - Fantastic bottle of Le Pergole Torte from the 2019 vintage in Chianti. This wine is only produced in the best years and 2019 qualifies. Dense, rich, unctuous - red berry and a long finish from this 100% Sangiovese offering. Will benefit from bottle age, but after 30 minutes it really was outstanding. For those with multiple bottles in your cellar - suggest you try one now.
