Friday, March 8, 2024 - Translucent dark ruby - a wonderfully aromatic nose of rose petals suffused with fresh cherries and crushed red berries, with a twist of herbs and red licorice. A note of mint emerging with time in the glass. Juicy, velvety, fresh and open on the palate, with smooth drying Barolo tannins. Surprisingly open at this stage, but oh so good. With pork chops and black olive and porcini risotto.
