This wine definitely opened up after about 3 hours in the decanter, but not quite as much as I hoped. Slightly floral nose. Hint of pepper with oak and blueberries. Still quite tannic with some good acids; I suspect it would gain a few points in 5+ years. Not sure it will taste as well as the 99 did after 10 years, I am not saying it won’t, rather I really don’t know.
