Sunday, May 14, 2023 - Slow ox'ed for over an hour. Medium purple-ruby in colour. Nose of spiced red cherries with some red and black currants and a hint of raspberry jam. On the palate, red berry notes are noticed with a touch of spiciness and black peppers at the end; a bit of vegetal notes similar to cab franc is detected. Medium bodied with a short+ finish. My first time tasting this grape variety and such an easy going drink.
