Friday, September 15, 2023 - A hard wine for me evaluate as I seldom drink 100% Roussanne. The minerality was excellent, but there was a sweetness that did not marry with any particular fruit flavors, citrus or tropical. It was almost like a touch of artificial sweetener was added and the citrus and tropical fruits were just naturally very dry or fading. The color did not indicate too much age, and there were no oxidative notes. Not an unpleasant wine and the 15 second finish was more enjoyable than the initial attack.
