rather warm purple fruits on the nose, which then get overwhelmed by cooked plums and dominant woody, smoky aromas, little bit of tobacco and coffee. has a strange artificial touch which I didn't like.

palate: good acidity but low tannins.

we had a burgundy tasting and this was kind of a „pirate“. but this was clearly recognized as a swiss/german pinot. it had much more wood, smoke, was more jammy, cooked and was less fresh as the burgundian wines. This was less puristic, and less my taste.
