Saturday, April 6, 2024 - Popped and poured, 58F. Stelvin closure. Aromatic nose dominated by raspberry, herbal hints and a touch of vanilla. Pale translucent ruby color, no noticeable heat, minimal tannins, low acidity, light body, no structure. Tart cherry fruit and spicy oak notes on the palate. Short clean finish. Very simple but quaffable and food-friendly wine. Thinking that this wine might show better with a bit of chill on a warm summer night.
