Saturday, December 11, 2021 - Dark garnet on pour. Chilled and decanted for 30 minutes before pour/tasting. Dark fruits (plum, blackberry, and blueberry) on the nose. Bold, dry--but well balanced fruit. (4-13-18-8)
Did a vertical tasting with the 2018 vintage, which is very tasty now (2021). The 2017 was distinctly smoother and the 2018 was a little tighter. Both excellent wines now, but I imagine wonders with time.
