Saturday, August 29, 2020 - Light salmon color. Split bottle over 90 minutes. Brought this out on a hike for a picnic. This was drinking great today and the bucolic setting along the Kettle River rapids didn't hurt a bit. This starts with a burst of cherry followed by yeast and strawberry cream, rose petals, bright chalk minerality. The palate is well defined with cherry and wild strawberry, very creamy, medium full bodied, bright chalk and wet stone and a clean refreshing finish. This had about 3 years of cellar time and was drinking great.
