Sunday, July 31, 2022 - Third bottle from a half case. This bottle conveys a sense of purity and definition, which for some reason I did not notice before. The (cherry-berry-peach-citrus) fruit is ripe but fresh with a subtle zesty edge, there is lovely lift on the nose from floral notes (violet-rose), the silky-sweet palate has this sense of ripe green apple from the grape skins which I often find in Morgon Côte du Py (but here in a more generous setting), the balance is impeccable with light and bright tannins, and the only nod to the warmth of the vintage is a touch of liquorice. Excellent stuff.
