Wednesday, January 26, 2022 - Reichwage Winery - Berserkerday 13 Newbie Preview: nose is a bit more restrained than the 2018. As air opens it, tons of red currant jam on the nose. Getting a little bit of rose water mixed with pomegranate molasses that brings me to middle eastern cooking. This is more wound up than the 2018, not showing much on the front of the tongue, but full of red fruit on the back. The super long finish, carrying the sweet red fruit seems to be a real signature here and I’m all for it.
