Friday, February 16, 2024 - Awesome wine - maybe a Nickel & Nickel all-timer for us. The nose on this thing was wonderful: spicy red berry fruit and minerality. Palate was mouth-coating, almost velvety, with the vivid fruit and vanilla. The alluvial soil terroir at work here certainly showed out. The star of a late VD celebration, this cab paired very well with grilled tenderloin steak and mushrooms. Bravo!
