Wednesday, October 11, 2023 - Pale garnet. A bit closed at first, but opens to smell like damp wood or wood shavings, clove, smoked meat, butter, and red jam. Not getting much fresh red or black fruit. Tannins are well-beveled and wide, coating the entire palate. Love the light amount of astringency for texture. Finish is long and smooth.
