Saturday, March 16, 2024 - Opaque and inky. Nose doesn’t offer much other than “smells like Northern Rhône Syrah”. Blackberry, bacon, roasted meats and spice are prevalent. Mouth coating tannins. Perfect level of acidity ties everything together. Always a favorite.

Great pairing with a Morgan Ranch Waygu striploin medallion. The beef brings the black and blue fruits to the forefront. I also think this would go perfectly with any lamb dish.
