Sunday, January 7, 2024 - Light ruby red, almost clear at rim. After 90 minute decant, a sweet nose infurls, of raspberry, cherries and candy floss with rose in the background. Medium body, with pleasing acidity and a lingering taste. Overall somewhat subdued, and while very enjoyable, needs to lay down for a while longer to get the most out of it. Much lighter in comparison to the 2019 - this really could use more time before I can give an appropriate rating. Wait another year at least before opening the next one, and drink the 2019 in the meantime.
