Monday, February 9, 2009 - Pleasantly surprised here. Medium lemon colour. Green apple and melon nose. Also nectarine, slight smoky minerality. Good intensity. Medium bodied, medium to low acidity. Melon and peach on the palate. A flinty smokiness which seems to add body and richness. Medium to long, honeyed finish. A tad buttery - maybe just a lacking a little freshness, otherwise terrific.
