Wednesday, April 27, 2022 - En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Red berried fruit; raspberries and strawberries, over blue and black berry and wild blackcurrant: very fruit compote. Plentiful oak, graphite. The graphite note translates to the palate joining medium plus intensity acidity, slightly chalky tannins and finishes and a little bitter. Plenty of power here as well as the fruit which very comes to the party as well. Yummy.
