Sunday, June 18, 2023 - I am not the biggest fan of Rosé as I sometimes feel like the wines lack both the freshness of white wines and the body and structure of a red wine. This is different, not surprisingly made in a very fresh, tense style, this is showing both acidic tension, minerality and a touch of a red wineish feel. Notes of strawberries, cranberries, citrus, stony minerality, orange zest, also some pomegranate, also an almost salty chalky mineral note. It‘s lighter-medium bodied, with high acidity and very good length. This might be one of the most fascinating Rosés I have had in years.
