Wednesday, February 25, 2009 - I really enjoyed this. Had with sashimi with vegetables and rice in japanese resaurant run by Koreans. Very nice glasses and food is great also. Smells quite complex with stewed fruit and sweet strawberry and licourice. quite concentrated. On the palate medium to full bodied, juicy and very drinkable with typical spicy rhone character. Very ripe but not overripe. Abit simple on the mouth, that is why it is great everyday drinking wine. One of the best cote du rhone so far, step up from mont redon cote du rhone 2003 and 2005. Highly recommended!
