Thursday, November 18, 2021 - Served blind. My third bottle of the wine this year, all shared with me through the kindness of my wine friends. This bottle did not show as well to me as the previous two. I found this bottle plush and dark, with a juicy black cherry profile, dark cocolclate. charcoal and a chewy finish. Just too much of everything here on a night when I perhaps just wasn't feeling it. I just wonder if a full day of air (as the January 2021 bottle I wrote up below received) would have changed my opinion here.
